Luis Felipe Laverde Jimenez (born July 6, 1979 in Urrao ) is a Colombian racing cyclist .

Luis Felipe Laverde was the 2001 Pan-American road racing champion (U23). Then he got a contract with the cycling team Mobilvetta Design-Formaggi Trentini . After a year he moved to Formaggi Pinzolo Fiavè . There he won a stage of the Lombard Week . From 2005 to 2008 Laverde drove for the Italian Professional Continental Team Ceramiche Panaria-Navigare . At the Giro d'Italia he celebrated the greatest successes of his career. In 2006 he won the 14th stage to Domodossola in a sprint against Francisco Pérez , in 2007 he won the stage to Spoleto .
