Luis Miguel Cantón Marín (born October 18, 1938 in Progreso de Castro , Yucatán state , Mexico , † May 10, 1990 ) was Bishop of Tapachula .

Life

Luis Miguel Cantón Marín received on 29 June 1964, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 30, 1984, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tapachula. The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico, Archbishop Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on June 6 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Yucatán , Manuel Castro Ruiz , and the Archbishop of Antequera , Bartolomé Carrasco Briseño .
