Luková (German Lukowa ) is a district of Brodek u Přerova in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northwest of Přerov and belongs to the Okres Přerov .
geography
Luková is located at the transition from the Oder Mountains to the Hornomoravský úval ( Upper Moravian Valley ). The northern part of the village lies in the last foothills of the mountains, the southern part in the plain. The Malá Lipová (273 m) rises to the east and the Stráž (215 m) to the northwest. State road II / 150 between Přerov and Prostějov runs through Luková .
Neighboring towns are Hráza, Mladý Kaláb and Kokory in the north, Žeravice and Lapač in the north-east, Na Žernové in the east, Rokytnice in the south-east, Císařov in the south-west, Citov in the west and Brodek u Přerova in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of Lucowa was in 1385. Since 1397 the place was referred to as Lukowa , from 1555 as Luková , 1675 as Luckow , 1718 as Lukow , 1720 as Lukawa and 1771 as Lukowa and Lukovium . The registers were kept in Přerov from 1629 and in Kokory from 1700 .
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Luková / Lukowa a municipality in the district administration Kremsier . In 1855 the community was assigned to the Prerau district and again in 1868 to the Kremsier district. Since 1877 the village belongs to the Okres Přerov. In 1886 a school was inaugurated in Oberdorf. In 1893 a village pond was created below the school. Due to the low number of pupils, classes in Luková were stopped in 1974 and the children were retrained to Brodek u Přerova. The syringe house adjacent to the school was converted into a culture house in 1976. In 1976 the municipalities Luková and Císařov were affiliated to the Local National Committee (MNV) Brodek u Přerova and in 1983 were completely incorporated. In 1991 there were 179 people in Luková. In 1998 the former school was converted into a residential building. In the 2001 census, 70 houses with 206 inhabitants were counted in Luková. At the beginning of 2011, the Luková district consisted of 76 houses and had 212 inhabitants.
Attractions
- Chapel of John the Baptist, in the center of the upper village. It was built in 1817 and enlarged in 1842. It was rebuilt after the fire of 1897.
- Stone cross, in front of the chapel
- Memorial stone for the victims of the First World War, in the upper village on the outskirts of Kokory
