Lunino ( Russian Лунино , German Dargen, Fischhausen / Samland district ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipality of Baltijskoje gorodskoje posselenije in the Baltiysk district .
Geographical location
Lunino is located 32 kilometers west of the oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and two kilometers northwest of the former district town Primorsk (Fischhausen) on a cement runway that branches off the regional road 27A-013 (ex A192 ) in Primorsk to the northwest and is now a large-scale military training area submerged village of Sanglienen (Russian: Chmeljowka) leads. The nearest train station is Primorsk-Nowy on the Baltiysk – Kaliningrad (Pillau – Koenigsberg) line .
history
The village, founded in 1327 and called Dargen until 1946, consisted of several large and small farms before 1945. In 1874 the rural community was incorporated into the newly established administrative district Domain Fischhausen in the district of Fischhausen . In 1930 Dargen was reclassified from the district Fischhausen domain, which was in the process of being dissolved, to the neighboring district of Tenkitten (Russian: Beregowoje).
As a result of the war, Dargen came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia in 1945 . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name Lunino and was assigned to the village soviet Logwinski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion at the same time . In the same year it was incorporated into the Zwetnowski selski Sowet . Later, Lunino came under the control of the city of Primorsk . Since 2008, Lunino has belonged to the municipality of Baltijskoje gorodskoje posselenije in the Baltiysk district .

The majority Protestant population of Dargen was incorporated into the parish of the parish church in Fischhausen (today Russian: Primorsk) until 1945 . It belonged to the Fischhausen parish in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman before 1945 was Pastor Armin Fligge . Today, Lunino is in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Swetly (Zimmerbude) , a branch congregation of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
