Lutz Ackermann (journalist)
Lutz Ackermann (* 1977 in Solingen ) is a German television journalist .
Growing up in Solingen, Ackermann studied German , modern German philology and sociology at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf until 2004 . During his studies he worked as a local reporter for daily newspapers and radio. From 2005 to 2007 he completed a traineeship in the editorial office of Spiegel TV in Hamburg. Since then he has worked as a freelance author, video journalist and cameraman in Berlin for various broadcasters and formats, including rbb , ZDF and Spiegel TV . Since February 2011 he has been working mainly from Hamburg as a writer and director on the NDR broadcast Panorama die Reporter . In 2008 he founded a television and journalism bureau.
Among other things, Ackermann was nominated for the German Television Prize in 2009 for his report The Thrown Away - Story of a Deportation .
Together with Christian Esser, he won the German TV Prize in 2012 and 3rd prize at the Helmut Schmidt Journalist Prize 2012 for their report Mister Karstadt - The Enigmatic Nicolas Berggruen .
