Lutz Haertlein

Lutz Haertlein (born October 11, 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

From 1985 to 1991 he studied law in Tübingen (January 1991 first state examination in law ) and Munich . From 1991 to 1994 he completed his legal preparatory service in Stuttgart (January 1994 second state legal examination in Stuttgart) and Berlin . From 1994 to 1998 he was a research assistant at the chair for civil law, German and European trade and economic law ( Eberhard Schwark ) at the Humboldt University in Berlin . After receiving his doctorate in 1998 from the Humboldt University in Berlin, he worked from 1998 to 2000 as a lawyer in an international law firm in Munich and Berlin. From 2001 to 2011 he was an independent lawyer in Bonn . From 2000 to 2006 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Civil Procedure Law at the University of Bonn ( Eberhard Schilken ). After completing his habilitation in 2006 at the University of Bonn ( Venia legendi for civil law, commercial and corporate law, civil procedural law), in 2006 he was professor at the Institute for German and European Technology and Environmental Law at the University of Heidelberg . From 2007 to 2008 he represented the professorship for civil law, banking and stock exchange law, and labor law at the University of Leipzig . From 2008 to 2011 he was professor for civil law, banking and stock exchange law at the University of Leipzig . Since 2009 he has been an examiner in the First State Examination of the Free State of Saxony. Since 2011 he has held the chair for civil law, banking and capital market law at the University of Leipzig.
