The Luye is a river in France that runs in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises in the local area of La Bâtie-Neuve , initially drains in a westerly direction, turns south at Gap and flows into the Durance as a right tributary after a total of 23 kilometers in the municipal area of Lettret .
