Charlene is considered an outsider in her family. She studied poorly in school. After graduation, she married, but the couple soon divorced.
A fortune teller tells Charlene that she would marry a doctor and be happy in the marriage. The doctor is said to have the first name Steven . Charlene is looking for the man. She meets Dr. Steven Stevenson know, but who does not turn out to be her dream man. Charlene doesn't meet the right man, but she has gained a few experiences.

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was an “ attempt at a romantic comedy with only limited humor ”. Its dramaturgical structure follows " the rules of a sitcom ".
