Christy Carlson Romano (born March 20, 1984 in Milford , Connecticut ) is an American actress and singer .

Life and accomplishments

Romano served as a cheerleader and was honored by American Cheerleader Junior magazine with the title of Honorary Cheerleader . She graduated from Columbia University . As an actress, she made her debut in the television drama The Many Trials of Tammy B in 1996 .

In the years from 1999 to 2003 Romano appeared alongside Shia LaBeouf in the television series Eben ein Stevens and won a Young Artist Award for it in 2001 and 2002 . She received another nomination for this award in 2004 for her role in the series-based television comedy The Even Stevens Movie (2003). In the comedy Soldat Kelly (2002) Romano played one of the bigger roles alongside Hilary Duff . From 2002 to 2007 she took on the title role in the television series Kim Possible , for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2005.
