The river at Vouvant

The Mère is a river in France that runs in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Garbaudières , near the hamlet of the same name, Les Garbaudières , on the municipal boundary of Breuil-Barret and Saint-Pierre-du-Chemin , generally drains south-west to south and, after 33 kilometers, flows into the backwater of the Barrage de at Mervent Mervent as a right tributary to the Vendée .
