The mill race is a good half a kilometer long orographic left tributary of Odenbaches in Rhineland-Palatinate Kusel district in the area of the municipality Lauterecken-Wolfenstein belonging municipality Hefersweiler .

The Morgraben arises in the natural area of Moschelhöhen in the northern Palatinate mountain region at an altitude of 234 m above sea level. NHN in a meadow right next to Landesstraße 382 and a good three hundred meters south of the village of Hefersweiler.
The brook, accompanied by the L 382, flows on its left-hand side, initially in a northward direction through forest, then changes to the other side of the road. It now runs through a green zone, then bends to the northeast and finally joins the Odenbach coming from the south at a height of 225 m on the southern edge of Hefersweiler .
