history
The place is mentioned for the first time in 1411. At that time the place name was "Monnenpach". The village was later called Mundspach, Monspach, Munspach, Mynspach, Mönsbach, Münchsbach, Minschbach and Mönchsbach. In 1820 Münschbach was incorporated into Rimbach.
