In terms of architecture and construction, the Brombachsee is so far unique in Europe . According to the operating company Erlebnisschifffahrt Brombachsee , it is not only the largest, but also the first passenger trimaran on an inland waterway . Around 750 people can be carried on three decks, 400 of them in interior seats. Since 2009 the trimaran has been equipped with a 13.2 meter high, glass panoramic elevator at the stern. This means that all three decks are barrier-free.
