John Gordon MacWilliam MAfr (born November 20, 1948 in Wimbledon , England ) is an English religious and Roman Catholic Bishop of Laghouat in Algeria.

Life

John Gordon MacWilliam joined the religious order of the White Fathers in and received on 4 July 1992, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 16, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Laghouat. The retired Apostolic Nuncio in Egypt, Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald MAfr, donated him episcopal ordination on May 20 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Tunis , Ilario Antoniazzi , and MacWilliam's predecessor Claude Rault MAfr.
