content

Bomber and The Storm are about war . Ferryman and The Wanderer , on the other hand, are about Gevatter Hein . The Lord's Supper describes the killing and eating of a person, i.e. cannibalism . Even in Lauf you can guess that it's about killing people.

The fifth song April, however, is about the rampage in Erfurt on April 26, 2002 by Robert Steinhäuser . He stormed the Gutenberg-Gymnasium in Erfurt early in the morning and shot 16 people and himself. In this song, which is played from the first person perspective, he describes the gunman as God who has the power to kill everyone. He describes that the rampage was not a dream and a game, but the goal of the gunman to kill the people in the school. In contrast to the song 17 candles at the cathedral (in the album Blutbahnen ) by Eisregen , which built the song up based on police research, the song seems rather superficial.

criticism

  • Rock Hard describes the musicvalleyas dark, straight heavy metal without any trend-inducement. Götz Kühnemund describes the style as quite simple without appearing flat. No lyrics, but he describes the lyrics of the band to match the music. Even if the singer's voice sounds deep and rough, the band does not slide into the realm of death metal .
