Madara Līduma (born August 10, 1982 in Gulbene ) is a Latvian biathlete .

The Riganerin Madara Līduma of ASK Riga operates since 1998 biathlon. The athlete, trained by Māris Čakars, has been a member of the Latvian national team since 2001. The sports soldier made her international debut at the Junior European Championships in Zakopane in 2000 ; her best individual result was an eleventh place in the sprint. Then she started without success at the Junior World Championships in Hochfilzen and finally at the World Championships in summer biathlon in Khanty-Mansiysk , where she was twelfth in the pursuit and fourth with the relay. In 2001 she made her debut in the Biathlon World Cup and was 91st in the Ruhpolding sprint . At the end of the season, she took part again without major success in the Junior European and World Championships.

In the following years Liduma commuted frequently between World and European Cups and took part in most of the World and European Championships, with outstanding performances remaining the exception. At the world championships in 2005 in Hochfilzen in the sprint and in 2007 in Antholz in the individual, she achieved 15th place each. The 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin were particularly successful for Latvian . In the pursuit and the mass start she was 20th, in the individual even tenth. This tenth place was also her best World Cup result. She had another good result in 2006 at the Military World Championships in Andermatt , where she was also tenth in the sprint. Madara Liduma took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her best result was 38th place in the pursuit. With the relay she finished 19th.
