Magdalena Gorzkowska (born April 30, 1992 in Bytom ) is a Polish sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

For the first time at an international championship Magdalena Gorzakowska took part in the Junior World Championships in Moncton, Canada as part of the Polish 4 x 400 meter relay and achieved eighth place. In 2011 she reached sixth place over 400 meters at the Junior European Championships and won the silver medal with the Polish relay. At the European Championships in 2012 , she was eliminated in the preliminary stages and reached eighth place with the Polish team in the final. In 2013 she retired from the U23 European Championships in the individual competition in the preliminary round and won the Polish relay.

In 2016, she celebrated her greatest success at the World Indoor Championships in Portland when she won the silver medal with the Polish relay.

On May 17, 2018, she became the youngest woman in Poland to climb Mount Everest.
