Mahlenzien Manor

Two architectural monuments are registered in Mahlenzien (see also the list of architectural monuments in Brandenburg an der Havel (outer areas) ) .

The village church of Mahlenzien was built in the second half of the 13th century. It is a small field stone building in the Romanesque style. The church was rebuilt in 1729, and the tower was added in that year. It is a lattice tower with a pyramid roof. There is a coat of arms of the Schierstedt family above the entrance door. The interior is from the time of the renovation. The cemetery was next to the church until 1900, after which it was moved to the northern edge of the village.

The Mahlenzien manor is west of the church in the center of town. It was built towards the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century. The builders were the Schierstedt family. The house is two-story, has nine axes and has a half-hip roof.

The remains of the Motte von Mahlenzien , a medieval wooden castle , are designated as a ground monument . The Burgstall is only a little outside the closed development southwest of the village.
