Heinrich Heine High School | On April 20th, 1938 the school was inaugurated under the name Hans-Schemm-Schule. After the end of the war, the school was occupied by the Red Army, in the meantime served as a military hospital, but reopened as a Quenzschule soon afterwards. In 1950 it was renamed Heinrich-Heine-Schule. In 1990 it was renamed to Gesamtschule Walzwerksiedlung / Elementary School 13, but got its old name back three years later. In 2007 the Heinrich Heine School was closed.
