The list of architectural monuments in Brandenburg an der Havel (outer districts) includes all architectural monuments in the outer districts of the urban area of Brandenburg an der Havel . The basis is the publication of the state monument list as of December 31, 2019.

The monuments in the districts of Dominsel, Altstadt and Neustadt are included in the list of monuments in Brandenburg an der Havel . The architectural monuments in the incorporated places are in the list of architectural monuments in Brandenburg an der Havel (incorporated places) . Avenue with paving The road is part of the earlier road connection to Lehnin, Potsdam and Belzig, the last road expansion around 1900 as a linden avenue with small stone paving made of basalt and porphyry, partly also large stone paving. In the Middle Ages, the road was a connection to Lehnin Monastery . The street was paved by 1804, and the four-row lime tree avenue was also renewed.

Water tower The water tower is located on the freight yard. It was built around 1935 to 1940. The water tower has a rectangular floor plan with nine floors. The office space is on the lower seven floors, the water tank and the pipe on the two upper floors. This division can also be seen in the facade, the two upper floors are marked with concrete ribs, the lower floors have a smooth facade with rectangular windows.

Apartment building with enclosure wall The house was built in 1901 according to an inscription in the gable. It is located on an acute-angled property on the corner of Hausmannstrasse. The stucco facade is kept in the style of historicism, while elements of the Gothic and Renaissance are used. There are tympana decorated with masks and tendrils above the windows . There is a Renaissance style pediment over the corner.

Brennabor works The Brennabor factory was created in 1871 from the workshops of the Reichstein brothers. They made hand-woven basket wagons, making them the largest manufacturer of prams in Europe. Bicycles were manufactured from the 1880s, motorcycles from 1903 and cars from 1908. In 1914 3500 workers worked here. In 1931 production was shut down.

Neustädtischer Friedhof: Complete horticultural complex and enclosure as well as cemetery chapel and border of grave sites and tombs from the 18th to 20th centuries (see BLDAM documents) The cemetery was laid out around 1740. It was a replacement for the abandoned church yards of St. Katharinen and St. Pauli. The trapezoidal floor plan is divided into two fields by a main path. The cemetery chapel was built in 1908, it is located west of the main path. In front of the entrance there is a vestibule with four double columns. The chapel room is rectangular and covered with a wooden barrel. Under this room is the morgue. the equipment with a gallery and stalls from the construction period has been preserved. The valuable tombs are located on the northern wall of the cemetery.

Rental houses The workers' houses were built in the 1890s. There are three four-story houses with eight axes each. The facade is structured uniformly, so these houses can be viewed as a unit. It is made of red brick and the ground floor is decorated with stripes.

Royal Provision Office, east and west storage building, office building and enclosure wall The royal provisions office was built around 1860/1870. The building is located directly on the lock canal, the storage tanks were made of red bricks from Rathenow. The eastern warehouse is five-story, five-axis and has a hipped roof. The western building is three-story with a half-hip roof. Both buildings have a central projection on the courtyard side. The office also has an office building, which is located on Kirchhofstrasse together with the surrounding wall.

Residential building The house was built between 1860 and 1870, making it one of the oldest houses in the suburb of the station. It is a two-story, eaves-standing house with a gable roof. The house has four axes, the entrance is on the right axis. There are a few steps in front of the front door. The façade is structured in the late classicist style, with plaster stripes of varying thickness depending on the storey.

Villa Gustav Kehrl and garden pavilion The villa was built in 1907 according to a design by Paul Schultze-Naumburg in the local style. The builder was the manufacturer Gustav Kehrl. The house is a single-storey plastered building with a mansard hipped roof. The roof shows gable gables, bat dormers and standing dormers. Towards the canal you can see a two-storey central projection with a gable and pilasters. On Potsdamer Straße there is a gable with curved shapes. The interiors are decorated with inlay work.

Turnerheim The Turnerheim was built in 1911. The builder was the Brandenburg Workers' Gymnastics Club. From 1913, May Day celebrations took place here. The Turnheim was also an excursion restaurant and a place for events organized by the Eigen Scholle settlement. The Turnerheim was originally a barracks. This was renovated in 1969, only part of the building was originally preserved. On the gable end of this part of the building there is an ornamental framework and split windows. BW

The third community school was called Jahnschule from 1918, the fourth community school was also called Kaiser-Friedrich-Schule from 1918. Both schools were renamed the Franz Ziegler School in 1922. Since September 29th, the school has been called Von Saldern-Gymnasium Europaschule. The three-story building has three wings and was built from red bricks. The design of the building with risalits and superstructures and porches is not reminiscent of a palace like earlier buildings of a barracks.

St. Nikolai Church The church was first mentioned in 1173. F. Grasow suspects that construction will start around 1170, making the Nikolaikirche one of the oldest brick buildings in the city. Heinrich Heine High School On April 20th, 1938 the school was inaugurated under the name Hans-Schemm-Schule. After the end of the war, the school was occupied by the Red Army, in the meantime served as a military hospital, but reopened as a Quenzschule soon afterwards. In 1950 it was renamed Heinrich-Heine-Schule. In 1990 it was renamed to Gesamtschule Walzwerksiedlung / Elementary School 13, but got its old name back three years later.
