Majaky ( Ukrainian Маяки ; Russian Маяки Majaki ; in German "lighthouses") is a village in the Odessa Oblast in southwest Ukraine with about 5900 inhabitants (2006).

The village on the Dnister Liman

The village, founded in 1420 is located in the Rayon Bilyayivka near the moldauisch -ukrainischen border in the west established by the 2008 National Park Low Dnister ( Ukrainian Нижньодністровський національний природний парк / Nyschnodnistrowskyj nazionalnyj pryrodnyj park ) part of a Ramsar area at the mouth of Dnister in the Dniester Liman (Ukrainian Дністровський лиман / Dnistrowskyj Lyman ).

The Oblastzentrum Odessa is on the highway M 15 to approximately 40 km to the east and the Rajonzentrum Bilyayivka is on the territorial road -T 16-25 to achieve after 12 kilometers north.

The Odessa nuclear power plant was to be built 10 kilometers north-east of the village in the 1980s, and today a gas-fired thermal power plant is located in its place.
