Makke Schneider

Makke Schneider (* 1974 in Dülmen ) is a German actor .

Life

Makke Schneider grew up in his hometown Dülmen, where he also passed his Abitur at the Clemens-Brentano-Gymnasium . In the theater group of his high school he also made his first experiences on the theater stage.

From 1996 to the final semester 1999/00 he studied drama at the University of Art in Graz , where he obtained his master's degree in the arts (mag. Art). Even before completing his training, he received a permanent engagement at the Burgtheater Vienna in the last academic year for the 1999/00 season . There he played u. a. the cadets in Sven-Eric Bechtolf's Cyrano production.

Further permanent engagements followed at the Städtische Bühnen Krefeld / Mönchengladbach (2000–2003), at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven (2003–2006) and at the Schauspielhaus Graz (2006–2010). During these years he had guest engagements at the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen (2003; as Philipp in Das Maß der Dinge by Neil LaBute ), at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen (2004; as Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice ) and at the RuhrTriennale (2004).

After more than 10 years in permanent engagement, he has been working as a freelance actor since 2010. He had theater engagements at the Theater der Keller in Cologne (in 2010 and 2011; inter alia as Jago in Othello ), at the Freie Werkstatt Theater Cologne (2012), at the Theater im Bauturm in Cologne (2012–2015; as Templar in Nathan the Way) ) and at the Wolfgang Borchert Theater in Münster (2014; in Moritz Rinkes We love and know nothing ).

In 2013 he appeared at the Burg Satzvey summer theater in the role of Blackbeard in the opera-air play The Pirates' Curse . Since 2013 Schneider has also been part of the regular actor ensemble of the Rhineland-Palatinate state theater . He appeared there as Albert in The Sorrows of Young Werther (2014), as Secretary Wurm in Kabale und Liebe (2015) and as Gauss in Die Vermessung der Welt (2016).

Schneider also took on roles in various film and television productions (including everything that counts , SOKO Cologne , Wilsberg , Bettys Diagnose , Lindenstrasse and Der Lehrer ).

He also works as a voice actor , radio announcer , etc. a. for the WDR , where he belongs to the permanent speaker ensemble of the WDR, as well as a speech and communication coach for various companies. Since 2011 he has also been working as a freelance lecturer in the training of young actors.

Schneider lives in Cologne.
