Maksim Yurevich Slysch ( Belarusian Максім Юр'евіч Слыш , Russian Максим Юрьевич Слыш / Maxim Yuryevich Slysch * 20th January 1979 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player , who has been the summer of 2008 at Yunost Minsk in Belarusian Extraliga on the Position of the striker plays.

Career

Slysch began his career in the junior division of Junost Minsk and played for the first team in the Belarusian championship and the East European Hockey League as early as the 1995/96 season as a 16-year-old . The striker remained loyal to his training club until 2000, before moving to the third-class French Division 2 at Brest Albatros Hockey . With the club, Slysch celebrated the championship and the associated promotion to Division 1 at the end of the 2001/02 season .

In the summer of 2003 Slysch returned to his home country for HK Junost Minsk and won both the Belarusian championship and the national cup competition with the team . Nevertheless, the striker moved to league rivals HK Homel after just one year , whom he left again after a year to play for HK Keramin Minsk . Between 2005 and 2008 Slysch won another championship title and cup victory as well as a runner-up with Keramin. In the summer of 2008 he finally returned to his training club a second time. With Junost he won three further championships in 2009, 2010 and 2011 as well as the IIHF Continental Cup in 2011 .

International

Slysch represented his home country at the Junior C World Championship in 1997 , the Junior B European Championship in 1997 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 1999 . At the Junior C World Championship in 1997, Slysch rose with the team in the B group. In 1999, after Belarus made it into the A group, the team was relegated from the same.
