The Malawian U-17 national soccer team is a national team of Malawian soccer players . It is subject to the Football Association of Malawi and represents it internationally at U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, at U-17 African Championships and U-17 World Cups .

At the African Cup of Nations 2009 , the team reached fourth place. In the semifinals she lost to the eventual African champions Gambia , in the game for third place against Burkina Faso . At the 2009 World Cup , she was eliminated in the preliminary round.
