Malevil (alternative title: Malevil, Countdown of the Neutron Bomb ) is a Franco-German end-time film by Christian de Chalonge from 1981, which deals with survival in the post-apocalypse after a nuclear war . The film is based on the novel of the same name by the writer Robert Merle .
action
The French farmer and mayor Emmanuel Comte and his friends survive a nuclear attack in the fortified castle of Malevil in southwest France . When they realized that the entire surrounding area and all life there had been largely destroyed, they began to rebuild.
Soon they find out from looters that there are other survivors in a railway tunnel who live on a train under the dictator "le Directeur". Soon afterwards, battles over the few remaining resources begin.
