Malik Harris (* 1997 in Landsberg am Lech ) is a German- American pop singer , rapper and songwriter . In his music mix of pop and rap, he also uses various elements from areas such as folk , rock and electronic music . He usually performs alone with Loop Station.

biography

The son of the US-American ex-talk show host Ricky Harris grew up near Landsberg am Lech . His paternal grandfather was an opera singer, his maternal grandmother a pianist, and his father is a master of numerous musical instruments. Harris began his musical career with cover songs , accompanying himself with the guitar, which he has been playing since he was 13. Like playing guitar, Harris taught himself to play the keyboard and use the drum computer . His role models are Ed Sheeran , Macklemore and Eminem . He is often compared to Bruno Mars .

His first singles Say the Name (2018) and Welcome to the Rumble (2019) became hits in the AirPlay charts and on Spotify . The third single Like That Again was released in summer 2019, followed by Home in autumn 2019 .

His first solo tour began in May 2019. Previously, he was the opener for James Blunt , Alex Clare , Jeremy Loops and others.
