Maloyaroslavets Druhyj ( Ukrainian Малоярославець Другий ; Russian Малоярославец Второй Maloyaroslavets Wtoroj , Romanian Malu Mic , German Alt-Posttal ) is a Bessarabian village in the southwest of the Ukrainian Odessa with about 700 inhabitants (2001).

history

The village founded in 1817, another source mentions the year 1823, belonged as Alt-Posttal to the 24 Bessarabian German mother colonies . The village was until 1918 part of the Russian Empire and came after the First World War to the Kingdom of Romania . In the summer of 1940 the village was occupied by the Soviet Union and between 1941 and 1944 by Romania. After the Second World War the village belonged to the Ukrainian SSR and since 1991 it has been part of the independent Ukraine. The number of residents was 1569 in 1930, of which 1503 were Germans and in 1940 there were 1564 Germans and 47 inhabitants of other ethnic groups in the village.

Malojaroslawez Druhyj is the only village in the 30.15 km² district council of the same name in the southwest of Tarutyne district near the border with the Republic of Moldova .

The village lies on the bank of the Kyryschk ( Кирижк ), a 54 km long left tributary of the Kyrhysch-Kytaj ( Киргиж-Китай ) flowing to the Danube and on the territorial road T-16-44 between the 7 km northeast of Tarutyne district center and the 11th district km southwest of the village of Malojaroslavets Perschyj . The Odessa Oblast Center is located 155 km east of Malojaroslavets Druhyj.
