Manfred Boehm

Manfred Boehm , also Manfred Böhm , (born September 14, 1930 in Blaubeuren ) is a German actor .

Life

The son of a teacher graduated from high school from 1947 to 1949 at the private academy for acting in Stuttgart . In 1949 he made his debut at the Städtische Bühnen Münster . He was under contract there until 1951.

In 1951/52 he played at the Stadttheater Memmingen , 1952/53 at the Staatstheater Stuttgart , 1953 to 1957 at the comedy in Marquardt and from 1957 to 1966 on the stages of the state capital Kiel . Roles in Kiel were Bluntschli in Helden , Cleant in The Imaginary Sick , Senator in Louis Verneuils' state affairs , Don Cesar in Moreto's Donna Diana , Jerry Ryan in Gibson's Game for Two , Philipp Hotz in Frisch's Die große Wut des Philipp Hotz , Obolski in Fireworks , Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, and Mick in The Caretaker .

In 1962, Böhm took on the role of Winnetou at the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg - but only for one season. In the years and decades that followed, Böhm stood in front of the camera as a supporting actor in various Tatort productions. But Böhm made a name for himself above all as a theater actor. Among others at the state theaters in Wiesbaden, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.

From 1966 to 1968 he was part of the ensemble of the Wiesbaden State Theater , where he played Roerl in Ibsen's pillars of society and Dr. Mason in The Wide Land . From 1968 he was a long-time member of the ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe , where he took on numerous roles, including Don Manuel in Calderón's Lady Kobold , Fool in Was ihr wollt , Astrow in Uncle Wanja , Roger Rop in In der Case J. Robert Oppenheimer , Captain in Zuckmayers Schinderhannes , Dorn in Die Möwe , Rheingraf vom Stein in Das Käthchen von Heilbronn , Richard in Egmont and Dr. Butcher in The Beaver Fur .
