Manfred Doehn

Manfred Doehn (born September 28, 1938 in Carolath , Niederlausitz ; † January 5, 2013 in Cologne ) was a German anesthesiologist.

Life

Doehn passed his Abitur in 1958 at the Stormarn School in Ahrensburg and studied medicine at the University of Cologne . In 1958 he became active in his father's corps Borussia Breslau in Cologne and Aachen . In 1959 he was consenior , Heinrich Bonnenberg senior . After the state examination, Doehn worked at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf from 1964 . There he went to Karl Horatz in 1968 . In 1970 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD . As senior physician and representative of the clinic director (1974) he devoted himself to intensive care medicine . Professor since 1983 , he became chief physician at the Cologne-Merheim hospital in 1984 . In 2004 he retired . As a drum doctor in Cologne and Aachen, he gave a lecture in March 2007 at the 1st drum doctor congress at the Corps Palatia-Guestphalia .
