Manfred Hugo

Manfred Hugo (born January 15, 1942 in Bad Essen ) is a German lawyer and former main administrative officer .

Hugo, son of a railway official, graduated from high school in Diepholz . He studied law and political science at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . From 1969 he worked as a judge and public prosecutor, until 2002 he was the presiding judge at the Osnabrück Regional Court . In addition to his job, he had been a CDU member since 1960 on a voluntary basis in local politics in his home town of Bohmte and was mayor of the community from 1972 to 1994 . In 1993, Hugo volunteer District Administrator of the district Osnabrück . From July 2002 to October 31, 2011 he held the office full-time. His successor is Michael Lübbersmann . At the constituent meeting of the district council on November 7th, 2011, Manfred Hugo was officially adopted and awarded the district's ring of honor.

Together with the former German Federal President, Christian Wulff , and the former Mayor of Osnabrück, Boris Pistorius , Hugo was the patron of the Osnabrück project KidCourage . In his capacity as district administrator, Hugo was President of the Osnabrück Land Regional Association .

Hugo is married and has two daughters.
