The Mann River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales .

geography

The river has its source on the eastern slopes of Ben Lommond on the New England Highway between Glen Innes and Guyra . Shortly after its source on the east side of the Great Dividing Range, it flows through Llangothlin Lake, southeast of there, at an altitude of 1351 m. In the lake it turns its course to the north. At Shannon Vale east of Glen Innes it turns east and flows through the Mann River Nature Reserve , passes the Barool National Park in the south, flows through the Nymboida National Park , where it takes up the river of the same name and then turns north again. He walks a short distance along the Gwydir Highway and passes the Gibraltar Range National Park in the east. At the Coombadjha settlement it flows into the Clarence River .
