Manuel Fernández Musso (born June 27, 1988 ) is a Spanish biathlete .

Manuel Fernández Musso competed in his first international races in 2008 as part of the Biathlon European Cup in Langdorf . In Ruhpolding he took part in the Junior World Championships in the same year and was there 86th in the sprint and 82nd in the individual. In the course of the year he also took part in the junior competitions of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Haute-Maurienne and finished 39th in the sprint and 38th in the pursuit. At the start of the 2008/09 season Fernández took part in his first races in the performance area in Obertilliach as part of the IBU Cup and was 112th in the individual and 133rd in the sprint. In 2009 he reached in Nové Město na Moravě as the 87th in a sprint race for the first time a double-digit result. In 2011 the Spaniard reached the points for the first time with rank 40 in a sprint in Osrblie . His best result in this racing series he achieved in the same year as 21st in a sprint from Bansko . In Otepää , he took part in a major senior event for the first time with the 2010 European Biathlon Championships and was 61st in the individual and 65th in the sprint race. At the 2012 European Biathlon Championships , he was 43rd of the individual to achieve his best result in international championships.

In the Biathlon World Cup Fernández made his debut in 2011 in the sprint from Hochfilzen , he finished as the 104th. He achieved his best result in the same season in the sprint of Nové Město na Moravě as 92. At the Biathlon World Championships in 2012 in Ruhpolding , he was 106th in the individual race and 98th in the sprint. The following winter he was able to book his first relay deployment at the World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě. With four penalties, Fernández had a decisive role in the fact that the lapped Spanish season 29th and thus last. In the individual he did not reach the goal, in the sprint he was 132.
