Manuel Hiemer (born February 2, 1976 in Munich ) is a former German ice hockey player ( defender ) who ended his career during the 2006/07 season at EHC Munich in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

Hiemer began his career in the 1985/86 season in the offspring of the Sportbund DJK Rosenheim, now Starbulls Rosenheim , for which he also played in the DEL in the 1996/97 season , after having previously had 1.5 years of experience in the US college Team from Bemidji State University .

For the 1997/98 season , Hiemer moved to the 1st League South to EV Landsberg , which he left after one season to play at EHC Bad Aibling from the 1998/99 season , where he was under contract until the 2001/02 season was standing.

After his time in Bad Aibling it attracted Hiemer the 2002/03 season for EHC Munich in the Bavarian League , where he for the first year of promotion to the league and in the 2004/05 season and promotion to the 2. Bundesliga succeeded. In the 2006/07 season , Hiemer ended his career after 14 games for personal reasons.

Today Manuel Hiemer heads the M Solutionis agency in Halle (Saale). The agency specializes in project management . In addition, Hiemer is the first chairman of ESV Halle and president of the Saxony-Anhalt state ice sports association.
