Manuel Neumann (born December 19, 1986 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with Starbulls Rosenheim since October 2017 .

Career

Neumann began his career at SC Bietigheim-Bissingen, where he was active for the professional team in the 2nd Bundesliga from the 2004/05 season . He also played for the junior team in the junior Bundesliga. There he was one of the defenders with the best points within the team. His most successful season was the 2006/07 season, when he scored 47 times in 30 junior games. In the summer of 2007 he left the club and joined the then top division club Wölfe Freiburg . At SC Bietigheim-Bissingen, he only made 15 games in the second division in five years.

With the Wolves he immediately belonged to the regular squad and rose with the club in the 2007/08 season in the 2nd Bundesliga. Neumann stayed another season in Freiburg before moving back to the top division for EHC Dortmund in September 2009. There he received a contract after having played in some of the Elche's preparation games.

In 2012 Neumann received a two-year contract from the then Oberliga Nord participant, the Löwen Frankfurt , which was finally ended in 2014 with the promotion to the DEL2 with the Löwen and who moved to the Füchse Duisburg . After two weeks of play in the 2017/2018 season, his contract in Duisburg was canceled and Neumann moved to the Oberliga Süd to the Starbulls Rosenheim
