Manuela Sieber

Manuela Sieber (born March 6, 1967 in Bautzen ) is a German singer , musician and actress . Their music is part of the German language chanson . She writes her own lyrics.

Career

Manuela Sieber started out as a xylophone and bongo player in the church choir. She learned the piano as a further instrument. At the age of 14 she made her first attempts to write songs. She studied classical singing at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden . After graduation, she went on to study musicals and chanson in collaboration with the “Hanns Eisler” University of Music in Berlin .

In 1990 she was a musical performer at the Dresden State Operetta for four years . At the same time she applied for the European Ralph Benatzky Chanson Competition in Hamburg and in 1992 won 3rd prize.

From 1994 to 1997 she worked as a singer and actress in the Buddy Holly story in Hamburg. She also worked as a newscaster and presenter for the NDR and as a voice actress in the Hamburg studio . She also completed her acting degree at the ZBF .

With her own solo programs Men and the Bitter and Lemon Show , she performed on cabaret stages in Hamburg and Dresden in 1997 and 1998 .

In 2001, Manuela Sieber moved to Berlin and often appeared as an actress in television series . In 2003 Manuela Sieber won the Hanns Seidel Foundation's young talent award for song poets . In cooperation with the producer Ralf Leeman (guitarist of Ulla Meinecke ) the debut album Endlich alone was created in 2004 .
