Marc Azéma
Marc Antonin Azéma (born August 25, 1905 in Graissessac , † July 12, 1954 in Saint-Gaudens ) was a French racing driver .
Career
Marc Azéma drove monoposto and sports car races in the early 1950s . He started twice in the Le Mans 24-hour race for the Deutsch & Bonnet team . In 1953 he was the team partner of Marc Gignoux and reached 19th place overall in DB HBR . The mission in 1954 ended prematurely after the loss of a bike at DB HBR.
Marc Azéma had a serious accident on June 11, 1954 at the XVIIIè Circuit Automobile du Comminges , a race of the Formula Monomill . The Formule Monomill was one of René Bonnet launched racing series for small single-seater racing car with a 0.85-liter Panhard - two-cylinder engine . Azéma was taken to a hospital in Saint-Gaudens with serious injuries, where he died a day later.
