Marc Barthel , also known as Jesse D'Lane , (born October 4, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German singer , actor , songwriter and voice actor .

Life

Barthel began his training in singing and choreography at the age of 12. In 2006 he successfully took part in a casting for the youth magazine Yam , which was looking for the sixth member for the boy group Part Six . With the band he released two singles and an album before he left the band in 2007 after he came of age and continued his career as a solo artist under the pseudonym Jesse D'Lane . He changed his style and recorded songs with Vibekingz, among others . In 2011 he released his first album Black & White , as well as the singles Alles wird gut , Soldier feat. Hawdcoe, Maybe and So Nice .

He also works as an actor under his real name Marc Barthel . In 2008 he appeared in an episode of Turkish for Beginners . He then starred in the films Der Amokläufer - Aus Spiel wird Ernst (2008), Liebling, wake the chickens up (2009) and Blissestrasse (2011). In November 2012 he appeared on Good Times, Bad Times for several episodes . From 2013 to February 2014 he was seen in Berlin - Day & Night in the supporting role "John Fehrs" in more than 140 episodes. In 2013 he worked alongside Yvonne Catterfeld in the music drama Nur ein Nacht . From 2014 to 2015 he played the role of Tim Helmke in the ARD series Verbotene Liebe alongside Sila Sahin . Since 2019 he has played the police officer Kris Freiberg in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante .
