occupation

All or nothing was a German soap opera that was broadcast between October 22, 2018 and January 4, 2019 on the German television station Sat.1, Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m.

It is a production by Producers at Work GmbH based on an idea by screenwriters Aglef Püschel and Tamara Sanio, which was filmed in the CCC Studios in Berlin-Spandau from August 16, 2018 to February 1, 2019.

On January 7, 2019, it was announced that Sat.1 will remove the series from the free TV program with immediate effect after 50 broadcast episodes and that the series will be canceled. As a result, negotiations between the production company and Sat.1 decided to end the series after 105 episodes and a finale. The remaining episodes were broadcast in the media library, on YouTube and on the pay station Sat.1 emotions . The series ended on March 22, 2019 with the 105th episode on the Sat.1 website.

background

As early as 2017, Sat.1 announced that it would again include a daily series in its program and ordered four pilot episodes for this, which were then shown to a test audience during market research. Three of the formats came from the production company UFA Serial Drama , which has already been responsible for the RTL series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten (since 1992), Unter uns (since 1994) and Alles was geht (since 2006). Ultimately, the concept of all or nothing and thus the production company Producers at Work was able to convince, which means that production began in early summer 2018.

Filming started on August 16, 2018 in Berlin and ended on February 1, 2019 after 105 episodes.

Charisma

The broadcast is planned from October 22, 2018. Industry journals had previously assumed that the station would begin broadcasting at the end of October 2018 and that it would use the slot at 6:30 p.m. on working days. At that time, the successful telenovela Anna and Love was already running . This assumption was confirmed in mid-September 2018. For the broadcast of all or nothing , the daily magazine is finally closing time! from October 22, 2018, 30 minutes shorter.

On October 15, 2018, Sat.1 published the first five episodes in advance on its website.

In Austria, the station ATV will broadcast five episodes in the morning and noon program on Saturdays from October 27, 2018.

Audience ratings

After the last daily series on Sat.1 ( Mila ) struggled with low ratings and was withdrawn from the program within two weeks, everything or nothing also had a weak start at the beginning. With a market share of 5.8%, the ratings were rather low at the beginning of the series. The other episodes of the first week could not surpass this value either. It was not until November 2, 2018 that a new record of 6.6% was recorded, before a negative value of 2.3% was set shortly afterwards. This value was even undercut with the last episode of the year on December 28, 2018. The market share was only 1.8% here. With the first episode in 2019 on January 2, this value was undercut again when it generated 1.5%.

The ratings have therefore fluctuated sharply since the beginning of the broadcast and were well below the station average, which is why the series was removed from the program by Sat.1 from January 7, 2019.

action

The death of the very wealthy building contractor Axel Brock brings to light what remained hidden for years: In addition to his model marriage to Melissa and their children Jascha and Maria, the entrepreneur leaves three illegitimate children behind: Jenni, Anja and Daniel.

Jenni grew up in poor conditions and has always contributed to the household budget of her family through a temporary job. Anja works in a table dance bar and wants to start a family with her boyfriend Rocko. Daniel, on the other hand, lives on the street.
