Varol Sahin

Varol Sahin (* 1985 in Ankara ) is a German actor of Turkish origin.

Life

Varol Sahin was born in Turkey and comes from a working class family . In the first years of his life he was raised by his mother because his father worked in Germany. Sahin later came to Germany as part of family reunification and lived with his family in Berlin-Kreuzberg .

He completed his acting studies from 2010 to 2012 at the Film Acting School Cologne in Cologne , where he a. a. Lessons from Thomas Jahn , Marc Hertel , Stefan Gebelhoff , Arndt Schwering-Sohnrey and Antje Lewald . He also attended master classes and workshops for actors in Berlin , New York and Los Angeles .

Sahin initially acted in a few short films . In 2014 he started acting for television, initially with a leading role in the Sat.1 production In Danger - A fatal moment (2014), later with various supporting roles in the RTL television series Gute Zeiten, Zeiten , where he participated in the Side played by Daniel Fehlow , Vincent Krüger , Giovanni Arvaneh and Felix von Jascheroff .

From October 2018 to March 2019 he had one of the leading roles in the Sat.1 production Alles oder keine . In his first leading role on TV, he played the determined and loyal Tarek Alici, the personal assistant to a very rich building contractor and heartthrob.

From July 2019 (episode 2917) to April 2020 (episode 3105) Sahin was part of the main cast of the ARD -Telenovela Rote Rosen . He embodied the ambitious Turkish-born Cem Ergün, the son of a taxi driver from Itzehoe , whose dream is to found his own bakery chain with high-quality products.

Sahin lives in Berlin . He has two daughters.
