Marcellina Pustet OSB (born February 29, 1924 in Regensburg as Elisabeth Pustet ; † April 9, 2019 in Säben , South Tyrol ) was a German Benedictine , abbess and editor .

Elisabeth Pustet was born as the eldest daughter of the publisher Friedrich Pustet . She did her high school diploma at the New High School in Regensburg and studied German for a year in Innsbruck . Since her father was in Soviet captivity until 1948, she managed the publishing house. She also studied theology . Then she was secretary to the dogmatic professor Georg Engelhardt and editor at the family-owned publishing house Friedrich Pustet KG . She entered Herstelle Abbey on April 24, 1954, and made profession on April 30, 1955. She took the religious name Marcellina.

In 1968 she was in the Säben monastery for the first time . She was seconded to the monastery for support and elected abbess there on May 8, 1970. Her motto was "Trusting for love". There she built the first therapy center for drug addicts in South Tyrol. In 1996 she resigned from her position and Ancilla Hohenegger succeeded her as abbess. In 2005 she was made an honorary citizen of the municipality of Klausen .
