The Marchkopf is a 2,499 meter high mountain in the Tux Alps to the south-east of Hochfügen and delimits the Pfundsalm area on the east side.

ways

The summit can be reached as a simple mountain hike from Hochfügen. There are roads from Hochfügen up to the ridge to the mountain station of the Zillertal Shuttle ( 2378  m ) in the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area . From here over the north ridge with Schrofen and Blockwerk, at the end a little steeper, to the summit.

For the rest of the way, an easy ridge hike to the south with a view of the main Alpine ridge is ideal . From the summit, a marked path leads over Seewand ( 2420  m ), summit ( 2445  m ) and Kraxentrager ( 2423  m ) to the Rastkogelhütte .
