Mark Jindrak (born June 26, 1977 in Auburn , New York ), better known by his ring name Marco Corleone , is an American wrestler . One of his greatest successes to date is receiving the WCW World Tag Team Championship twice .
Career
World Championship Wrestling
Jindrak trained at the WCW Power Plant under Paul Orndorff . In 1999 he made his debut as Mark Jindrak in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). In the same year he formed a tag team with Sean O'Haire . With this Jindrak won the vacant WCW World Tag Team Championship on September 25, 2000 . They gave the title to Corporal Cajun and Lt. Exit Loco . That same evening , Jindrak and O'Haire won the title from Cajun and Lt. Loco back. Jindrak and O'Haire gave the title to Alex Wright and Disco Inferno on November 16, 2000 . After losing the title, Jindrak and O'Haire briefly feuded against each other. Jindrak later tagged with Shawn Stasiak before Jindrak was injured in February 2001.
World Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Entertainment
After the WCW was bought up by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), Jindrak's contract went to the WWF.
In late 2001, Jindrak was briefly used in the Ohio Valley Wrestling Development League . In 2003 he formed in RAW one tag team with Garrison Cade .
In 2004 he formed a tag team with Luther Reigns . Jindrak and Reigns joined Kurt Angle and feuded with him against Eddie Guerrero . They later feuded against The Big Show .
In June 2005, Jindrak was released.
New Japan Pro Wrestling / Independent / Mexico
On October 8, 2005, Jindrak made his debut with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). There he formed a tag team with his friend Matt Morgan . In December 2005, Jindrak was released.
From then on, Jindrak appeared in various independent promotions . He appeared in Europe with Nu-Wrestling Evolution , in Japan (with Matt Morgan) with HUSTLE and in Mexico with Consejo Mundial De Lucha Libre (CMLL). Jindrak signed a contract with CMLL in December 2006. There he appeared as Marco Corleone . In March 2009, Jindrak was released. In March 2009 he signed a one-year contract with Asistencia Asesoría y Administración . However, the contract was not extended. Since then he has appeared again at Independent Promotions, mainly at Lucha Libre USA .
