Marco Sau (born November 3, 1987 in Sorgono ) is an Italian football player who acts in the storm and is active for Benevento Calcio .

Career

Sau began his career at US Tonara and later moved to the youth department of Cagliari Calcio . After being accepted into the professional squad, there were several loan positions before he returned to Cagliari for the 2012/13 season and earned a permanent place.

Sau made his debut for the Italian national football team on May 31, 2013 under Cesare Prandelli when he came on as a substitute in the 4-0 win in the friendly against San Marino .
