Marcus Ray Burley (* 16th July 1990 ) is an American American football poker players. He last played as cornerback for the Houston Texans in the National Football League (NFL).
NFL
Jacksonville Jaguars
After Burley was not selected in the 2013 NFL Draft , the Jacksonville Jaguars signed him on April 28, 2013. On August 28, 2013, the Jaguars released Burley. On September 1, 2013, the Jaguars signed up for their Practice Squad . On September 14, 2013, he was promoted to the main squad, but released two days later. On September 17, 2013 Burley was recruited by the Jaguars for the Practice Squad, but released on October 1, 2013.
Philadelphia Eagles
On October 9, 2013, the Philadelphia Eagles enlisted Burley for their Practice Squad. On November 14, 2013, the Eagles released Burley.
St. Louis Rams
On December 18, 2013, the St. Louis Rams enlisted Burley for their Practice Squad.
Indianapolis Colts
On January 7, 2014, the Indianapolis Colts enlisted Burley for their Practice Squad.
Seattle Seahawks
On August 30, 2014, the Colts traded Burley for a six-round pick with the Seattle Seahawks . On October 26, 2014, he made his first interception in the game against the Carolina Panthers . He was released on September 3, 2016.
Cleveland Browns
On September 4, Burley was signed by the Cleveland Browns . Almost exactly a year later, on September 3, 2017, he was released again.
Houston Texans
On September 6, 2017, Burley was signed by the Houston Texans . He was released on October 25, 2017.
