Marian Heuser

Marian Heuser (* 1984 in Herdecke ) is a German slam poet, author and presenter.

biography

Heuser grew up in Lüdenscheid in the Sauerland and moved to Münster in 2006 . There he began in 2008 to perform poetry slams with his own prose and lyrics . At the North Rhine-Westphalian Slam Championships he reached the final in 2008 (in Münster), 2009 (in Siegen ), 2011 (in Cologne ) and 2017 (in Siegen). In 2012 he won the Lower Saxony Poetry Slam Championships in Osnabrück , followed by his first independent book publication, the text collection Soaps Change You in Paderborn Lektora-Verlag . In 2015, he hosted the NRW Slam final in the Münster City Theater when Jason Bartsch won . In 2018 he was the organizer and final moderator of the NRW Slam 2018 in Lüdenscheid.

Heuser is the founder and organizer of the "World of WORDcraft" series of events as well as the moderator of numerous poetry, song and science slams in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony , including in Lüdenscheid, Hemer , Nordhorn , Lippstadt , Münster, Gronau , Leer (East Friesland) and Papenburg . Since 2012 he has devoted himself increasingly to the poetry slam work with young talent.
