Mariangela Giordano

Mariangela Giordano (born September 2, 1937 in Dolcedo ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Giordano, daughter of a journalist, was elected "Miss Liguria" in 1954, which opened the door to a film career. In the following year she played a small role in a film shot at Genoa , several roles, often in adventure films , often produced in Spain , followed. With a few exceptions (an episode role in Hawaii Five-Zero and a role in an unpublished work by Sam Peckinpah ), her career was limited to the Mediterranean region.

In the 1960s she starred in sandals and western films , sometimes under pseudonyms like "Mary Jordan", which were often produced by her long-time partner, producer Gabriele Crisanti , who also cast her in a few horror films until the 1980s . Then she turned to television as well, but continued to play smaller film roles into the new millennium.
