Marizy is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Le Rousset-Marizy with 422 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Marizy is the capital of the municipality of Le Rousset-Marizy.
Since January 1, 2016, Marizy and Le Rousset have formed the new commune ( Commune nouvelle ) Le Rousset-Marizy. The municipality of Marizy belonged to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and was part of the canton of Charolles (until 2015: canton of La Guiche ).
