Mark Korir
Mark Korir (born January 10, 1985 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.
From 2004 to 2008 he started for the University of Wyoming .
In 2011 he won the Rio de Janeiro half marathon and finished second at the Corrida Internacional de São Silvestre . The following year he won the 10 km of Santos, came second in Rio de Janeiro and third in the Corrida de São Silvestre.
In 2013 he was third in the Azkoitia-Azpeitia half marathon and second in Santos, Rio de Janeiro, in the JoongAng Seoul Marathon and in the Corrida de São Silvestre.
In 2014 he finished seventh in the Seoul International Marathon , fifth in the 25 km from Berlin and second in the Corrida de Langueux . In the fall, he won the Lille Half Marathon and finished fifth in the Shanghai Marathon .
In 2015, a second place in the Paris Half Marathon was followed by a victory in the Paris Marathon .
In October 2016 he won the Frankfurt Marathon .
