Markus Hoffmann (* 1969 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German actor, presenter and speaker.

Life

After training as a chemical specialist , Markus Hoffmann made up his Abitur and worked from then on as a freelance reporter for the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (WAZ), Radio Essen , Sport1 (tennis and soccer) and for ProSieben . In 1996 he went to Los Angeles as a Hollywood reporter for the private broadcaster , where he met Michael Jackson , Robert De Niro , Meryl Streep and Steven Spielberg .

He studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in Los Angeles, became a member of the Screen Actors Guild and made his first film in Hollywood Lost in Babylon . In 1999 he returned to Germany and played alongside Uwe Ochsenknecht in the comedy Football is our life . This was followed by roles in television and cinema productions, such as in Tatort Saarland : Adam's nightmare , 7 dwarfs - men alone in the forest , death of a girl , as well as roles in the WDR series Die Anrheiner and Phoenixsee .

Markus Hoffmann currently lives in Cologne.
