Martín Cauteruccio , full name Martín Cauteruccio Rodríguez (born April 14, 1987 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.79-meter-tall offensive player Cauteruccio, who already played for Nacional Montevideo in his youth and was the top scorer at the Punta Cup in 2005 with his teammate Luis Suárez , has been in the first division squad of Nacional Montevideo at least since the Clausura 2007 . In that half series he was placed twice in the league. During the 2007-08 season he played on loan for Central Español . His record there was five goals in 14 games. For the Apertura 2008 to the Apertura 2009 he returned to Nacional and was Uruguayan champion with the Bolsos in the 2008/09 season. However, he came there only seven times in the league (no goal). In the Liguilla Pre Libertadores 2009 he also played three games (no goal) for Nacional. In the current 2009/10 season he decided to change clubs and from then on was on loan in races . With twelve goals in 24 games, he was very accurate there. He also played seven times in the Copa Libertadores and also contributed two goals at international level. Three missions (no goal) in the Liguilla Pre Libertadores are also carried out for him there. In Apertura 2010 he played 13 games in the Primera División at Nacional and scored three goals. This was followed by a position at Quilmes from Clausura 2011 . With the Argentines he came to 90 or 91 league appearances, depending on the sources, in which he scored 32 goals. His commitment there ended in 2013 and he switched to San Lorenzo de Almagro . At the club from Buenos Aires , he made eight appearances in the Primera División in 2013/14 . He hit the opponent's goal five times. He also played two games (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2013 . However, his season was overshadowed by a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee in the game against Rosario Central on September 8, 2013 . He also won the 2014 Copa Libertadores with the Argentines in August 2014 . He contributed to this with two appearances, one of which was in the second final game. He was also involved in two encounters (no goal) at the subsequent 2014 FIFA Club World Cup . In the Primera División, he played a total of 78 games across the seasons and scored 29 goals. He also played ten games (eight goals) of the Copa Argentina , two games (no goal) of the Recopa Sudamericana 2015 , five games (one goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2015 , five games (one goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2016 and seven games (three Goals) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 . After extending his contract with the Argentine club, which expired in June 2016, to 2019, at the beginning of January 2016, he moved to CD Cruz Azul in Mexico at the beginning of January 2017 . With the Mexicans he has so far (as of March 3, 2017) in six league games (no goal) and four games (one goal) of the Copa México .
