Martin Joseph-Honoré LaJeunesse OMI (born November 11, 1890 in Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson , Québec , Canada ; † July 10, 1961 ) was a Canadian religious and Roman Catholic Vicar Apostolic of Keewatin .

Life

Martin Joseph-Honoré Lajeunesse joined the Congregation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in and received on 11 April 1920, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 25, 1933, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the titular bishop of Bonusta and Koadjutorvikar of Keewatin. The Vicar Apostolic of Keewatin, Ovid Charlebois OMI, donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Montréal , Alphonse Emmanuel Deschamps , and the bishop of Joliette , Joseph Arthur Papineau .

Martin Joseph-Honoré LaJeunesse was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Keewatin on November 26, 1933, succeeding the late Ovid Charlebois OMI. On April 15, 1954, LaJeunesse resigned as Vicar Apostolic of Keewatin.
